We have been hand crafting furniture from recycled timber in Sydney's Inner West for over 30 years. We specialise in building statement pieces that will be the centrepiece of your home.
When creating our furniture we're sympathetic and respectful to the heritage materials we use. We feel there's no point in sourcing 150 year old timber and then dressing it to the point where it has a clinical appearance. While our furniture is rustic, its finish is smooth and durable, using the latest in non-toxic high-tech clear coat. All our drawers open and close beautifully on full extension, mechanical slides of the highest standard.

Unlike the standard fair, we offer bespoke vanities, tailored to your preferences. With endless options for sink configurations and door and drawer combinations, we also ensure that handles and door hardware can be perfectly matched to your choice of tap ware, creating a seamless and personalised look for your space.
Our vanities feature a durable marine-grade finish, making them completely water-resistant. While they have an old-world appearance, they’re anything but rough when it comes to functionality. The drawers are equipped with premium European smooth-glide slides, ensuring effortless operation. As with all our furniture, every vanity comes with a lifetime guarantee, reflecting our commitment to quality.

Our tables are hand crafted from authentic recycled timber that is sourced from historic sites across Sydney. We repurpose framing timbers from period homes and heritage buildings, each beam carrying a unique story from its past. We celebrate the history of each piece by carefully cleaning it up by hand, maintaining its character and charm.

While we have the capability to build entire kitchens, many of our customers turn to us for statement pieces that bring unique class and character to their homes. Noticing a gap in the market for freestanding kitchen cabinetry, we set out to create beautifully crafted pantries and hutches. Our solid timber cabinetry is fully customisable in size and configuration. These beautifully crafted pieces are built to last, becoming cherished heirlooms that can be passed down through generations.

They are particularly popular with clients in high-rise apartments, where modern, minimalist kitchens often lack warmth and storage. Beds
Beds and bedroom
At Three of a Kind, we strive to offer something far superior to what’s available elsewhere by addressing the durability and functionality issues we often see in other products. Our bed frames are primarily constructed using an age-old method known as "post and rail." This technique involves notching and interlocking adjoining pieces to create strong and enduring joints. It’s the same method that has been used in stockyards for centuries, and our beds are built to last just as long.
All our beds are fully demountable, meaning they can be disassembled into four parts: the headboard, footboard, and side rails. This design makes them easy to manoeuvre, even up narrow or spiral staircases.
Bespoke Cabinetry

Bespoke cabinetry means exactly what it says: cabinetry of any kind whether purely decorative or as a tool to perform a specific function! If you have a project in mind
Some examples are: outdoor BBQ cabinets that have metal tops and are impervious to splatter and flame; cabinetry to display fishtanks; record and hifi cabinets; display cabinetry for collections such as model cars, planes and figurines; ceramics, crockery or whatever you collect; entire libraries; sideboards; banquet seating with fliptop lids for bulk storage
